Using a Methodist Way of Life – a Webinar  Thursday 10 December  10.30am-12.00noon

You might have heard of A Methodist Way of Life? If so, and you aren’t quite sure what it is and how it could be part of your churches’ mission and ministry, then this event is for you!

This introductory webinar provides some background to Methodist Way of Life and explores some of the ways in which it might be used in your context.

We will listen together to an introduction from Roger Walton, with some suggestions for the use in Methodist Way of Life in local contexts.

We’ll also have time for some discussion about how Methodist Way of Life might be useful for you and those you work with.

To book and to receive a Zoom link for the meeting email Rob at NWMannNetwork@gmail.com

  1. Lancashire Sings Christmas – From Baubles to Bubbles

Thursday 17th December 7pm -8pm on BBC Radio Lancashire

This year the impact of the Coronavirus means we cannot gather together in public places to sing.

This is an invitation to tune into Lancashire Sings Christmas 2020 and to share this service of carols, readings, stories of hope and healing in the many safe bubbles of contact that exist across the country.  Song sheets will be available nearer the time to view or to download.

Join with everyone in Lancashire across the airways to lift our voices and to open our hearts and minds.

  1. Christmas Day Meal – do you know anyone, who’ll be on their own, to have this free gift?

West Preston Methodist Church are working with 'Here for Humanity' and Miller's Taxis to cook and distribute 100 hot meals on Christmas Day.  We want people to let us know of people who will be on their own who and would like to have this free gift.  The permission of the person needs to be gained and they need to be at home on Christmas Day. We need names, telephone number address and allergies.
